Our Story
Before NotaryDirect, I worked inside a traditional notary practice. Clients come to us from all over the world, and we hear the same story: a notary appointment booked months out, long flights just to sign one document, a different notary needed for every country and every case.
I have a background in entrepreneurship and business, so it was easy to see the problem from the client's side. The documents were never the issue. It was the process built around them.
I set out to remove that burden. Cross-border legal documents should not slow anyone down, so I built NotaryDirect around a single idea: one point of contact, from notarization through apostille, handled remotely by video or in person in Stockholm for anyone who prefers that. Cases are typically completed same-day across the 130 countries covered by the Hague Convention.
Since then, we've built out the team and the network of notary partners we work with, so cases move quickly no matter where in the world a client is.
We work with law firms, corporate service providers, immigration lawyers, company formation specialists, residency and citizenship by investment firms, compliance and AML teams, tax advisors, international business consultants, and FinTech and crypto companies. In practice, we work with any professional whose clients regularly need documents certified or apostilled for use abroad, including investment migration specialists.
For firms that want to offer this under their own name, we also support white label setups and partnerships, so they can strengthen their own services without building any of this themselves.
We stay flexible on how we work together, because every partner and every case is a little different. What does not change is the goal: build relationships that last, not one-off transactions.
