Apostille for Population Register Extract
A population register extract — personbevis in Swedish — confirms details held in the civil register such as your registered address, civil status, citizenship and family relationships. Foreign authorities, banks, immigration offices and universities frequently ask for one when you move, marry, apply for residency or open an account abroad. For use in a Hague Apostille Convention country the extract needs an apostille, which is issued once the document has been notarised as a certified copy by a Notary Public.
