What is the difference between notarisation and apostille?
Notarisation confirms that a copy is true or that a signature is genuine. The apostille is a certificate that makes the document valid in other Hague Convention countries. Company documents are usually notarised first and then apostilled.
Do I need to show the original?
Yes. The original document is shown to the notary public on camera. A printed PDF does not count as an original.
Can the apostille be issued in another language?
Apostilles can be issued in English, Spanish, Swedish and German. Notarisation can be carried out in English, Spanish and Swedish.
Which countries can I use the document in?
Any country that is a member of the Hague Convention. If you are unsure about a specific country, ask us before you book.
Can a company in another country use this service?
